God i remember this, i used to watch this all the time years ago. This channel has become a massive part of my childhood, in fact its the main reason im still watching ESclips and playing Video games to this day.

I’d love to see an updated timeline thanks to Mario Odyssey which references the vast majority of the “eras”

But... this proves that Mario isn't as mental as we all thought. He obviously hates Luigi because of his stealing Peach from Mario. HE wasn't the one to preform the animal abuse on DK, but rather his father. And his idolization of Pauline isn't because he's a promiscuous psychopath, but because Pauline is his mother.

Mario spent his life being the hero, leaving Luigi in the shadows. However, Mario had no time for romance, but Luigi did. Luigi started a relationship with Daisy. It started out genuine, but he secretly resented his brother for his fame. Peach really cared about Mario, but again, Mario was too busy being everyone's superman to just be her man. Luigi was there and charismatic, so eventually, a late night turned into more. Heartbroken, Daisy left Luigi and went to another country where she got into trouble. Mario felt the call of the restless hero and went to save her. At the end, Daisy is afraid of being alone and Mario is tired of all the violence he's committed in his years since leaving the plunger behind. The two fell to pieces together, but at first, neither was complete enough to really give each other the love they deserved. Daisy helped Mario with his PTSD and eventually, their bond grew stronger. Luigi and Peach's relationship was founded on pettiness, but no one else needed to know that, so they kept up the charade of a happy couple and went swinging on the weekends.

Probably one of the last greats of the Silver Age of Game Theory. Such is life
