Game Theory: The Disturbing Lore of Merge Mansion Just Got Darker!

I really love how the company behind merge mansion said: « hell, let’s just go with it »

Its really cool that Merge Mansion actually bought into the theory and is now playing along. Thats what makes me love game companies.

The fact she didn’t send Matt money and he’s the one who started the rumors on ESclips (for the most part) is funny

I can at this point we can all agree on the "theory"that the mobile game exists only to fund the animated clips and the developers' all other dream projects.

Dude I love how some games are starting to ACTUALLY interact with their fans

So that "flowers in the garden" is likely a play on words reference to using a "Blood and Bone" fertiliser, just by the way. Might be worth analysing the flowers to see if you can find the species and if they grow well under blood and bone fertiliser. If they are hydrangeas for any reason, then, the flower color tells you the pH of the soil.

Okay, I gotta say this. In the original ad, the one that calls Grandma a killer, the bottom-most line seems to imply that someone else is involved...Eh this will probably get buried anyways

Also let’s appreciate they casted Kathy Bates as a creepy grandma, the same actress that was playing a lot of creepy characters in american horror story - I love that PR idea 🙏🏻

Huh, this theory is somewhat wholesome imo. The fact the grandma wants to teach her daughter about the family secrets instead of killing her is sweet... I guess.

Perhaps the message of “you’re next” implies that, because Grandma is on the run, Maddie will be the one to continue her tradition!

Gotta say, props to the game devs for taking the ball and running with it.

In the game's valentine's event, there was a scene where Maddie tried to ask about her grandfather but her grandmother changes the subject before she can even say his name. I don't know why but I thought that it was worth mentioning this.

i’m surprised how much lore this little mobile game has, it’s actually really funny, and when the live action ads came

I feel like the fact that grandma on Instagram answered where are the bodies with “there are only flowers in grandmas garden” means that she is using body parts as fertilizer or for nutrition so the plants grow extra healthy.
